How do I hand over an award?
At "My team" you can see the award and the silhouettes of all team members. You may drag'n'drop the award onto a silhouette or a silhouette onto the award. You will see a popup box where you may enter a comment before confirming the hand over. Alternatively you may click "Hand over a new award" where you will have to choose the recipient from the drop-down list.
Where do I see which awards have been handed over?
You will see the last three handovers on the "My team" page. The full list is available on the 'Statistics' page.
How can I get informed about new awards?
With the RSS-Feed you can stay up to date with the team's handovers. If you want to process the data automatically, you will find the xml filen interesting. It contains even more information about the team. If you entered your email address (as a user, not as the team leader), you will get an email each time somebody hands over a new award to you.
Do other people see my teams pages if they analyse the embedded elements?
No. All elements which should be visible to everybody (the statistics xml, the podium and the award) have a seperate key. With this key you may only access those public pages but you cannot draw any conclusion about the internal team key.
Who can change the settings of my team?
Anybody who knows the link to the team. Because of that it is important to give the url to team members only. However, all changes in settings have to be accepted by the team leader - after a setup phase of the team. He will get an email, whenever a change was made.
What are the special capabilities of the team leader?
The team leader is the only one who has to enter a valid email address. With this he can activate the team and will receive the link to the team sites. Furthermore he is responsible for all team settings. Every team member can change them, but only the team leader receives an email and can decide, if he wants to accept or decline them. Additionally, the team leader will be informed, if the team is inactive for too long.
What is the team's setup phase?
Everybody inside the team can change the team's settings. The team leader receives emails with open changes and has to confirm or decline them. But after the activation, many changes will be made to the team's settings (new users, email addresses, ...). Therefore you may change any settings during the first week after activation without the need to confirm them separately.
What do I have to consider while creating team members?
All users of the team have equal rights. This means all of them see the same information including all settings. You can add an email address for all users, which will be used for notifications. It will never be shown on the website, only the teams leader will see it because he has to confirm it. The team leader does not count as a normal team member. If he wants to get awards, too, he has to create a new member. After the setup phase, where you can create members arbitrarily, the team leader has to confirm any new user.
Can I remove a member from my team?
No, you cannot, but you can deactivate a user. Inactive users cannot get awards, but their statistics will be kept. You can reactivate users if required.
I want to include details about my team on my separate website. How can I do that?
At Extras you'll see the award from the overview page and the podium of the statistics page. You can include them in different ways. Just choose the best option and copy the source code to your page.
Which personal data do you request?
We need no personal data from the members of a team. But if you want to get informed about new awards, you have to enter an email address. However, the team leader has to enter a valid name and email address. He has to confirm later (after a setup period) changes and gets informed about inactive teams or problems.
What do you do with my personal data?
Of course your data is saved as long as the team is active. When the team is deleted (e.g. because it was inactive), the data will stay in our database for a while. It gets deleted later.
I want to report abuse, where can I reach you?
On every page you find a "Feedback" link. There you can report insulting or nasty comments.
Is the service free of charge?
Yes.
